After some exciting years as a journalist covering West Africa and Southeast Asia, I've found myself back in the U.S, living, working and studying in Washington, D.C. As an MFA student at American University in the film and electronic media department I'm moving into longer format video work and meanwhile picking up some new technical tricks. Since moving to D.C. in 2009, I've produced videos for clients including Africare, the Danish Demining Group and the National Whistleblowers Center. With one foot still in the journalistic world, I'm also producing multimedia pieces for news outlets using video, still photography, audio, writing, and graphics.
